Cora Dalik, known as Cora Bean to her family and friends, is a curious 2 year old who will make your heart melt!  On July 25, 2011, Cora was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. Aplastic Anemia is a rare disease of the bone marrow with just three diagnoses for every one million people. There are only thirty children diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia in the United States per year. Essentially, Cora’s body is not producing enough red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. Luckily, she had a very brave big brother, Andrew (age 5) , who was a perfect genetic match and gave a life saving gift to his sister. The cost of all this has been overwhelming for the Dalik family.
